Dr David Wilkins
Dr David Wilkins studied medicine at the University of Sydney. After graduating in 2019, he continued his training in metropolitan Adelaide hospitals including the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital, followed by specialty training in General Practice in various southern suburbs clinics. His interests in General Practice include minor surgery, mental health, and chronic disease management with a focus on improving healthspan. Dr Wilkins also holds an academic research position at the University of Adelaide where he works on topics including Long COVID and medical and research applications for artificial intelligence. Before becoming a doctor he worked as an academic ecologist, and he maintains a keen interest in observing and enjoying the natural world.
