Dermatology
Skin problems accounts for 15% of work load of a routine family doctor. With experience and knowledge, managing common skin disease should not be done by dermatologist but family doctor. Unfortunately, dermatology is not a prominent subject to be emphasised in the current undergraduate medical curriculum. Hence, patients with skin disease is not generally managed well at the primary care level. A lot of unnecessary referrals are done by GP to dermatologists leading to unnecessary stress, expenditure and time.
Here we offer general dermatology service encompassing all ranges of skin diseases such as eczema, psoriasis, shingles, fungal infections, STI, common nail and hair pathology.
Our doctor is currently under post graduate training at the Bond University and HealthCert leading to the Professional Diploma in General Dermatology.
